Engineering Excellence Made in Denmark
Hecto Drone is born out of a simple question on a field in Denmark: Why hasn’t anyone yet build a drone with an integrated generator aboard?
This became the beginning of Hecto Drone, the moment we decided to developed the worlds most energetically dense generator, which has lead us to where we are today, with a compact 7kW generator system below 9 kg – world class drones developed, designed and built right here in Denmark.
2017
Founded
From the beginning back in 2017 we have met our fair share of challenges – economic as well as technological – but we never stopped building and building. Our philosophy has always been crystal clear: Our drones have to be able to be hosed down with a garden hose. They have to be able to fly for hours, not minutes. And they have to be cost-effective on a daily basis.
Hecto Drone was founded by Andreas and Martin and is today driven by a professional and passionate team, which we are incredibly proud of. Our employees design, build and test fly our drones with dedication and technical precision – it is that driving force which makes Hecto Drone something more than just technology.
We are motivated by creating functional and groundbreaking drones, and by working together with people who share that ambition.
